Notes From Ms. Cuffee

A picture of Mr. Rottman's favorite stop, Monteverde, in the cloud forest

It's almost travel time! With just four days until we kick off our adventure, Ms. Cuffee sent out a very important email today. Check it out here:

¡¡¡BUENOS DÍAS!!!

Where has the time gone?!?!?! ONLY 4 DAYS UNTIL DEPARTURE!!!

I hope this email finds you all well. I have attached an updated Documents checklist, and we are ALMOST all good to go!!! I am missing gratuity from about 30 travelers. This is not good. Please, please, please, make sure you get this to me either via check, made payable to Britney Cuffee, via cash, or even via Paypal or the Cash App at Britney.Cuffee@gmail.com. Again, these funds are given to our tour guides, bus drivers, and other EF staff who take care of us while we are there. This is how they support their families. I will update this list again this afternoon and send it out.

Please check to make sure that your child has everything marked as "received" on the documents checklist. There are very few outstanding documents.

I have included two links below with regards to baggage policies for American Airlines as well as Copa Airlines. It seems as though Copa travelers, on flight C, are permitted two checked bags as well as a personal item and carry on on the plane. There is no charge for these travelers. Unfortunately, American Airlines travelers will incur a $25 fee for their first checked bag and $40 fee for the second. Please note that these fees will need to be paid at departure from Dulles as well as in Costa Rica for the return flight.

That's it for now.

Get excited,

Srta. Cuffee
